Electric welded gate valve is an industrial valve designed specifically for high temperature and high pressure conditions. It achieves opening and closing control by driving the valve stem with an electric actuator. Its core features and applications are as follows:
1、 Core Features
Structural Design
Adopting a pressure self tightening sealing structure without a valve cover, the higher the medium pressure, the more reliable the sealing performance.
The middle of the valve body is welded as a whole to eliminate leakage points. The valve body material is commonly made of carbon steel (WCB), chromium molybdenum steel (WC6/WC9), or stainless steel.
The sealing surface is welded with a drilling based hard alloy layer of ≥ 3mm, which is wear-resistant, high-temperature resistant, and corrosion-resistant.
Performance advantages

Applicable pressure: PN1.6-420MPa (such as Z961Y-420I model).
Applicable temperature: -29 ℃ to 570 ℃, stable performance under high temperature conditions.
The electric actuator supports remote control, with a protection level of IP65 or above, and some models are compatible with explosion-proof environments.
Sealing and Drive
The self sealing ring adopts low carbon steel or flexible graphite 316 wire to enhance high temperature adaptability.
The valve stem is treated with nitriding to enhance its corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance.

Isolation of high-temperature steam pipelines (≤ 570 ℃), boiler feedwater systems, and vacuum negative pressure systems in thermal power plants.

3、 Selection and maintenance points
Selection key
Select valve body material (such as stainless steel Z962Y-320R with strong corrosion resistance) based on the characteristics of the medium (corrosiveness, particulate matter).
Chromium molybdenum steel material (such as WC6/WC9) is preferred for high-pressure scenarios (>10MPa).
Maintain standards
During welding installation, the valve should be opened and the neck should be protected with a damp cloth to prevent damage to the sealing packing.
Regularly add lubricating grease to the grease injection port of the valve cap, and after closing, rotate the valve by hand for 1/2 turn to keep the gate floating.
