The butterfly valve has a small volume, uses less materials, is lightweight, and the larger the diameter, the more economical it is compared to other valves. The electric actuator rotates 90 degrees slowly and is easy to operate. At the same time, the valve has good fluid control characteristics. When the butterfly valve is in the fully open position, the thickness of the butterfly plate is the only resistance for the medium to flow through the valve body. Therefore, the pressure drop generated by this valve is very small. When the opening degree is between about 15 ° and 70 °, sensitive flow control can be performed. Therefore, the butterfly valve has significant advantages in large-diameter flow regulation. Not suitable for process media with particles and high temperatures.
